Sharon Wenzel-Hemati is a seasoned retail executive with over 20 years of experience leading domestic and international retail operations across brick-and-mortar, digital, and omnichannel platforms. She has overseen more than 250 points of sale, driving growth through strategic expansion, operational efficiency, and customer-centric innovation across multiple channels.
Sharon has held leadership roles with iconic brands including Halston, Elie Tahari, Etsy, Yonex USA, Vital Proteins, Herve Leger, G-Star Raw, BCBG, and Juicy Couture. Her international experience includes serving as Head of Retail for BCBG MaxAzria in Paris, where she developed a global perspective on brand development, B2B partnerships, and consumer engagement.
An expert in launching and managing pop-ups, Sharon leads all aspects from operations and product assortment to visual merchandising, staffing, and brand activation—delivering both high-impact B2C experiences and results-driven B2B collaborations with landlords, retail partners, and wholesale accounts.
Currently, she is also a small business owner, operating two third-wave coffee shops in Santa Monica, California. Her collaborative leadership style and passion for data-driven retail fuel her ability to build strong teams, optimize performance, and enhance the customer journey.
Sharon holds dual degrees in Accounting and Marketing from San Diego State University and has completed advanced executive leadership and sales management training. She actively supports nonprofit causes including NKLA/Best Friends Animal Society animal shelter in Los Angeles.
